The Case Of Venus Vs. Mars: "Play No Games"

Ahem, allow me to clear my throat and get right down to it as the words are flooding the dams of self control. Flirting can be very deceiving for the average individual and the act of getting caught up can be quite devastating to one's pride. Alright, enough with the pleasantries and being proper as this topic deserves blunt honesty. I've been on both sides of the fence, meaning that I've been played by misleading signals and I've created illusions unbeknownst to me due to miscommunication. But at 25, I feel like enough is enough.
I have a Nintendo Wii at my disposal whenever I decide to play games but besides that I tend to want things to be as obstacle free as possible. I know that there are some things in life that won't come easy but when it comes to women I wish everything wasn't an episode of Mission:Impossible. There's nothing more bothersome than knowing what the word MAYBE feels like. It's kind of like I'm chasing someone on a treadmill and they are standing still right in front of me, and no matter how hard I run and profusely perspire, I'm no closer than where I was when I started.

This past year, I've played the waiting game but after a while, I adopted a motto from Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 and it's something I'd like to call "On To The Next One". I'm a busy man these days so I don't have time to waste on frivolous things, and if I sense that I'm being put through a london fog I'll look for a better situation where the rules of engagement aren't written in riddles. I'd like to believe that I'm sensible but sometimes my impatience gets the better of me but either way, if I'm interested in someone or vice versa, it shouldn't be presented through the lens of a kaleidoscope. Whether it's harmless flirting, a fling or something that could lead to a relationship on a higher level, the specifics should be communicated so that the confusion is kept at a minimum. I think I need a Capri-Sun and a chair with an ottoman to think about this issue.
